I have heard your lament, O mild earth.
I have heard your lament, O Blue Sea.
I have heard your lament, O Desert.
I
I have heard your clarion call, O earth,
Over the sandy dunes and rolling sands.
I can taste your unrest as I draw breath
From the very air that you shared with mankind.
Do not fear, do not be afraid, O blue sea,
For I have become become a living stream
Ready to bear your tales across miles,
Like a bard that has only his sweet tales.
Be at peace O raging desert,
The barren first born of earth,
For I will be the hammer that molds,
And shapes the nature of the young and old.
